Apple Features Guitar Wiz in Visual Intelligence Chords Coverage

The editorial coverage highlights a camera workflow that helps guitarists turn chords found in the world around them into playable references.

Visual Intelligence: Chords with Guitar Wiz

Guitar Wiz’s Song Sheet Scanner uses the iPhone camera to identify guitar chords from lyric sheets, songbooks, screens, and screenshots. When a chord is detected, the app opens the matching entry in the guitar chord library with its fingering diagram and audio preview. Players can save the chord and continue learning or practicing.

The “Don’t Miss These Events — Visual Intelligence: Chords” category presents this experience as part of Apple’s Visual Intelligence coverage. “Intelligence You Can See” expands the same theme to apps that use visual context to provide useful actions and information.

From a song reference to a practice session

Camera chord recognition is part of a wider Guitar Wiz workflow. After identifying a chord, players can tune with the guitar tuner, keep time with the metronome, and build a progression or backing track in Song Maker. The app’s accessibility support includes VoiceOver, spoken guidance, Dynamic Type, Increase Contrast, Differentiate Without Color, Reduced Motion, and a dark interface.
