Guitar Wiz Brings an Adaptive Tuner and Chord Library to iPhone Duo
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BENGALURU, India, October 21, 2026 — Guitar Wiz is introducing a new adaptive experience for iPhone Duo, giving guitarists more room to tune, study chord shapes, and browse fingerings when they unfold their device. The app preserves a focused experience on the outer display, then reorganizes its interface for the larger inner display in both landscape and portrait.
The update is highlighted in two App Store in-app events: Guitar Chords on iPhone Duo and Guitar Tuner on iPhone Duo.
A tuner that makes room for the music

On iPhone Duo’s outer display, Guitar Wiz keeps the tuner compact and clear: the detected note, cents, tuning gauge, and string controls remain easy to read at a glance. Open the device and the tuner expands with the display rather than simply scaling up.
In the unfolded landscape configuration, the gauge takes the left side while the active tuning and selectable strings have dedicated space on the right. In unfolded portrait, the gauge sits above the tuning controls, retaining a natural top-to-bottom reading flow. Both configurations keep the live note, pitch accuracy, in-tune confirmation, and standard-tuning controls in view, so guitarists can choose the orientation that fits their practice setup.
A chord library designed around the display you have

The Guitar Wiz chord library also adapts to each iPhone Duo configuration. On the outer display, a single chord shape stays front and center, with the essential actions and nearby voicings within reach. The compact presentation is built for quickly checking a fingering without losing the chord’s note names or playability cues.
Unfolded in landscape, Guitar Wiz gives the selected chord diagram a large reading area and places a browsable grid of alternative shapes beside it. This lets players compare positions without leaving the chord they are studying. Unfolded in portrait, the selected chord remains prominent at the top while alternate fingerings form a horizontal row beneath it, preserving space for navigation and the rest of the guitar toolkit.
Across the outer display and both unfolded configurations, Guitar Wiz keeps its core chord-learning details together: chord names, diagrams, finger numbers, open and muted strings, note names, alternate positions, and a path to try a shape on a real guitar.
Find the configuration that fits your practice
Whether a guitarist is checking one note before rehearsal, comparing chord voicings at a desk, or studying with iPhone Duo unfolded on a music stand, Guitar Wiz adjusts the tuner and chord library to make the best use of the available space. The experience is part of Guitar Wiz’s broader set of tools for tuning, chords, rhythm practice, song-sheet scanning, songwriting, and accessible music learning across Apple devices.
