Guitar Wiz Named a Finalist in the 2026 Apple Design Awards

Apple has named Guitar Wiz a finalist in the Inclusivity category of the 2026 Apple Design Awards.

Announced by Apple on May 18, 2026, this year’s finalists spotlight 36 apps and games across six categories. Guitar Wiz was recognized alongside other standout apps for delivering an accessible experience across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS.

On the Apple Design Awards page, Apple highlighted Guitar Wiz’s strong VoiceOver support, spoken guidance for pitch and chord learning, and support for features such as Dynamic Type, Increased Contrast, and Differentiate Without Color. Together, these features help more guitarists learn, practice, and play with greater independence.

Built with SwiftUI by solo developer Bijoy Thangaraj, Guitar Wiz continues to focus on making powerful guitar tools feel approachable and usable for as many players as possible. This recognition from Apple is an exciting milestone for that mission.
